Lydtekniker for livestream
En lydtekniker som mikser lyd til livestream har en spesialisert rolle som krever en annen tilnærming enn en lydtekniker som mikser lyd for en live konsert. Når man mikser lyd til livestream, er det viktig å ha en god forståelse for hvordan lyden vil høres ut for seere som ser arrangementet på en rekke ulike plattformer, som for eksempel PC, mobil eller TV. Dette krever ofte å mikse lyden på en måte som tar hensyn til komprimering og dataoverføring, slik at lyden er klar og tydelig for seerne uansett hvordan de ser på arrangementet.
Lydtekniker for sceneproduksjon
En lydtekniker som mikser live lyd for en konsert har en annen type utfordringer. De må jobbe med å sikre at lyden er optimal for tilstedeværende publikum, og at lyden passer godt til akustikken i konsertlokalet. I tillegg må de sørge for at lyden er balansert og av høy kvalitet, og at alt utstyr fungerer optimalt under hele konserten.
Lydtekniker for studio
En lydtekniker som jobber i studio har en annen type rolle enn en lydtekniker som jobber med live scenelys og lyd for livestreaming. I et studio arbeider lydteknikeren med å ta opp, redigere og mikse lyd for musikkproduksjoner, film, TV eller andre typer innspillinger.
